@ snowlynx...this was not a criticism in any way and I hope it did not sound like that.I suppose myself I would be a wee bit pissed off more than angry. I have seen toddlers and people a lot younger than me die. I figure that in my case at least I have had a chance to live my life...Haven't done anything major but I have got to live in a few different places and meet amazing people from different cultures etc. Not as much travel as I would have liked but I have really enjoyed my life experiences this far. So that is the reason that I would choose to spend my last 6 months with friends and family...sure they would need a head wrecking fix from me before they would get Maguire and Patterson on the job to send me on my way
I don't know would I do anything much different really. Just spend as much time as possible with the people I care about.
I would file my tax returns, clean the house, sort out the cd's in alphabetical order, cut the grass and then watch Desperate Housewives.

Anger at the whole unfairness of it maybe. Good point though at the fact that very young people die, that would help me stop feeling sorry for myself and be a bit philosophical, I've had 46 years too so can't really complain!
I'd choose the music for my funeral, 'The end' by the Doors and 'Sympathy for the devil' by the Rolling Stones. Lol.

and the fact that young people die is the reason i created this thread cause i recently read bout a 15 year old girl with cancer who created a bucket list so it got me thinking
