i just quit...went out drinking last night and didn't smoke any...so that's a good sign

You don't need to purchase any of those things.
Pick a date of significance, some time fairly soon in the future (birthday, wedding, holiday etc.), and just think about that date and that you WILL give up on that date.
Just doing that will have your sub-conscious persuaded that you will not need the cigarettes after that date, a bit like hypnotism only not nearly as scary.
I know lots of people that this has worked for, myself included.

yep i did that with the drink, gave it up new years night last, nearly 7 months now off it. Thats good for an irish guy.
