At a medical conference awhile ago, a statement was made regarding those who have dedicated their lives to medicine;

In a lovely metaphor, Ellen White said the best people are
those who cast their lives, like seed, into the “furrow” of human
need.

While I totally agree with the statement, and most certainly admire and respect those who have entered the medical profession, I think this metaphor applies to everyone who takes the time to give someone a hug, who tries to elicit smiles from those around them. Even a simple "Good morning" said earnestly to a passerby could actually make their day. You shall reap what you sow!

(What's that Chuckles? Nah,..you know I'm just teasing when I call you stupid! Come here, give me a hug you silly bear,...hey, hey,.... Chuckles,....let,...go!! Note to self,...do NOT ask for a hug from a grizzly bear!!! Damn near killed me! Sheesh,...stupid grizzly!)

I hope everyone is having a great Canada Day weekend! And if you had to work, Hope it was a good day at work!

My encounter today reminded me that our perceptions of life and ourselves need to be sometimes viewed in the 3rd person ........ what to us is a tragedy to another can be a story of courage and inspiration.

Our perceptions of others can sometimes be totally wrong for all too often we jump to conclusions in our minds before we hear/see the whole picture.

Today I was inspired by a awesome woman.
