If the ability to Love Unconditionally could be given to to you, would you accept this or remain as you are?

Suppose one being could transfer the ability as easily as touching another. Would you personally avoid being touched or seek to be touched to get this ability?

I think that loving my children unconditionally is quite enough for me, thank you. It would complicate my life terribly if I had to love everyone else unconditionally !!!!! and maybe I would become a realy dirty well used door mat!!!!!cool dancing

sorry to disagree with you, but you are wrong.
there's no thing as "loving with conditions".
love is by definition limitless.
somebody said not long ago that "When you love, if you love too much, you are not loving enough".
why do you think love is so damn painful?
because you put all you have and more on it. just to discover was a lot of crap from the start...and then life is never the same again. the spring is no more full of life, the birds don't sing, the chocolate is bitter and the water is dry.

Good response; Love is unconditional, (perhaps unconditional surrender?) It as a concept has no limitations, we put those on due to variety of reasons, causes, be they social, moral, whatever. Unconditional Love is there for all of us; it is our choice to accept it without reservation or we attach limits/ boundaries and therefore chance it,; it is "to each their own".
Love...saying "I love you" to another is the most powerful thing in any language; it can also be the most terrifying to hear. 3 little words that carry so much, promises so much some cannot bear the responsibilities implied; such is the awesome power of that phrase to many, while for others, it is part of their unemotional detachment in the cold rendering of their occupation. Open hearts and open minds are extremely difficult to contend with at the best of times...and moods.&)

I wanted to write you somethings, but as far as your membership doesn't exist anymore...
I can't tell you if it would be terrifying or powerful or amazing or groovy for me to hear someone say "I love you". Never hear it so i just can't tell.
anyway...not much more to say in so open a way.
some things better told in person.
