What has been the greatest thrill of your life so far? Was the thrill dangerous? Was it a great love affair…boyfriend/girlfriend? Maybe with your Children or Family?

This is a thrill that I will never forget. My Cousin Gary and I went to an amusement park named Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio to ride on the tallest roller coaster in the world at the time. We were only teenagers seeking a thrill.
We waited in line for a very long time to get a seat. We got the best one…in the front seat of the roller.
A careless park attendant was unable to lock the roll bar into position for us.
As Gary and I proceeded up the steep incline to the top, we panicked trying to lock the roll bar. We kept trying to slam it into position. We didn’t succeed until we arrived at the top.
A good thing we did…the ride down picked us off of our seats.
Gary had a pair of sunglasses in his shirt pocket. They flew from the pocket on the way down, never to be seen again. We almost lost our lives on that ride. Needless to say, we didn’t go for a second ride.
Hi John, For me, a few as I'm a adrenalin junkie (I know it's hard to tell from the pic,)
Grew up near a river in my teens - so river rafting, was a big thing then. The ocean was only about 10kms away, so we used to walk there, body surf (good fun in 3/4m swells); migrated to surfing/wind surfing! Did a bit of skiing, parasailing - this takes your breath away! Always wanted to sky dive - may just do it (if I still have the nerve!) Want to enrol in kite surfing course as that looks cool - within next 2 years, cause I'm relocating currently. So, yes anything that gives me a kick & gets my blood pumping, I in for it!
thrill in my life when I got motorcycle accident, happened around few year ago ..got bad injure around my face & got broken left leg. Need 3 year to recover from my trauma & to dare myself to rise motorcycle again (its like scooter), just lucky no any car crossed cos I fallen down at middle of street other wise ....well I won't be here

Many of our thrills are centered on Family, Sports and interactions with our fellow Human Beings. I get a thrill many times by just going up to the local shop and talking with people.
How about the Circus for a thrill?

I've has numerous thrills on the racetrack. One that stands out was during a hardship practice the morning of race day. I was a novice and wanted to get every lap of practice I was afforded. In this session I was behind a Corvette and didn't have the power to pass him on the straights and he was sideways in practically every turn making him too wide to get around. My only hope was to take him on the outside in the "bowl" a section of an oval track that was Incorporated in the road course I drove. As we approached the banking I prepared to alter my line which would put me alongside him, me taking the high line. We hit the banking and I instantly realized I made a big mistake. Had I more experience I would have known that a cold track can be slippery as well as the part of the turn I put myself on was loaded with little balls of rubber which act like ball bearings.
My car went sideways in a blink of an eye I locked up the brakes with a full left lock of the wheel. As I was sliding sideways at about 90 MPH I saw I was heading right for the butt end of a guardrail. If I hit that guardrail it would cut me in half. At the last possible moment I decided to save my life by taking my foot off the brakes. I knew what was coming. The front wheels got a grip on the track and in their full left lock position the front of the car snapped to the left and I went straight up a seven foot sand bank. I crested the bank and continued gaining altitude. On the far side of the bank the land sloped down about 8 feet to the ground. Calculations later revealed at some point I was at least 15 feet above the ground going through the treetops. My car was an open top car and I couldn't duck under the dash due to wearing a shoulder harness. I had to sit bolt upright and take twigs and branches in my face. My thought at this time was that a limb would come along and decapitate me.
The car landed among the trees on its wheels and it took about 14 guys to carry it out from the woods between the trees. We had to cut an old barb wire fence in the process.
Postscript: The car had to be left where it was all day due to lack of time and while it was there a spectator stole my shift knob.
When I was in my early 20’s, my best friend Jerry owned a Saab car. The car was handed down from his Father. Saabs are very good in the snow, but not on this particular night. (You know Ohio winters}.
There was a big ice storm and Jerry was driving. We hit an ice patch, and we twirled 360 degrees on the road and came to an abrupt stop in the same lane. The drivers in oncoming traffic must have thought that we were crazy.
