It's terrible what that journalist did, I think she should be sacked. It's all a big scandal, I'm surprised they decided to shut down the newspaper though.

According to the article, they discovered themselves increasingly unpopular and left without advertising. So closing the shop was a logical move. Though I personally would prefer these people stay where they are – under exposure, otherwise they will employ the same dirty methods on new places.

It's good advertisers boycott them. It's amazing how that editor claims she didn't know she was committing a criminal offence and it being allowed to continue in her executive position. I imagine a lot of staff will be out of work due to the closure.

AthenzGirl: This made me think about my sweet dad... he used to work many moons ago for the London Evening News... and 'Murderer Murdoch' did the same to that great newspaper - he put my dad and hundreds of others out of work.
Over the years, he has ruined the lives of many people, and it seems this latest scandal just shows that he is continuing his mission as 'antichrist'
Absolute power, corrupts absolutely - slugs like RM can buy their way out of everything... but his time is running out fast, and there is a hot seat waiting for him, and he will find it hard to buy his way out since "you cant take it with you RM"!
