At the beginning there is that feeling of excitement at the pit of my stomach.. u know, the feeling where u can't wait to see the guy again and the whole world knows you're so happy cos ur face is just shining and there is this permanent ridiculous grin pasted on your face the whole day long..

Then 6 months down the line you get into that 'comfy feeling' where usually i start gaining a couple of pounds.. all those tacos and potato couching in front of a dvd starts taking its toll..

Then 2 years later all the excitement is gone.. there's just the bills left and arguments on which friends to visit the following weekend (not to mention hiding his socks and pretending to have thrown them away cos ur fed up, no just SICK of having to pick up after him; or banging ur head against the toilet whilst falling cos u quickly rush in to take a quick pee and HE never mopped up the mess he made after taking a shower..)

All the niceties just go out of the window, the romance fades and what's left? Just two slobs on the couch putting in one more DVD.

Geeze i sound pessimistic about relationships.. what am i doing here at all?confused

you sad in the begining of a relationship the face shine, 6 months later gaining on pounds after 2 years the exitement is all gone. This happend to me too, i had 2 relationships ended up in a wrong way guess that was not real love. When we find the real love that some one to love a life long no metter how many years will pass by the excitement will be always high. Guess we did not find it yet, i found a lot of comfort from my friends so lets just be positive and see what the futuer holds for us.

hug cheers handshake conversing

dunno.. what is 'real love' anyway? isn't it just two people willing to make enough sacrifices to make it work?

just depends on HOW WILLING they are to make those sacrifies.. how far they are prepared to go..

and this made me think of another question.. talking about REAL LOVE.. has anyone of u guys ever experienced this 'real love'??

true love or real love is to make the neccesary sacrifices and to give one's self to the other without expecting anything in return. To carry you true love through the storm when you need to. One might ask, why then would one separate if he truly loves that person. My answer to that is that you 'll need to know the whole story before you jugde.

the hardest thing is that when you have had a love that was just perfect every way and then your partner is not there any more the most difficult thing for me anyway is not to compare your new partner with the one that not there anymore and it is that used to get in the way but ive got over that way of thinking and look forward to love hope what ive written makes sense to you ad you know what i am trying to say

Its scientifically proven that "love" or "being infatuated" only can last between 18 - 30 months, which is a time frame allocated by nature, long anough to reproduce. Dont ever expect to have butterflies longer than that. After the initial "high" produced by some agents our brains release, has subsided the real work on a relationship sets in.
