An explanation for the above hug.
I used to be on the ambulance service in my home town. I was fine with adults and teens, but when it came to young children I was a mess. And the younger they were the more difficulty I had. Thank God the two SIDs calls I responded to were all the way on the other side of town because as I was driving as fast as I could I was trembling so much that I almost couldn't make it.
Anyone who can deal with children who are terminally ill has my deepest admiration.
