here in the netherlands, there are strong sentiments about wanting the guilder back.
and most of us dutch think too many poor countries are joining the euro zone.
we want our borders back, and our own rules....not the ones made up by brussels.
in short....we want to go back to EEG and the original Schengen treaty.

and there are strong sentiments also about kicking these countries out.....but this is not the position our government has.....as far as I can see, our government will demand for the banks to help out with a loan to greece.
keep it together.....to all costs....

but off the record, we (the dutch people not the government) want them out.....I even heard or read, I can't remember, that we should step out of the euro zone ourselves together with germany and other strong countries in the Zone and form a new 'euro zone'...

peeps here are upset because we have to pay so much tax to get back in balance again....and all of that money goes to other EU countries....
we think we have to pay for them.
allthough the government says it isn't so....

tough times.....

1.Greece
2.France

hmmmm.....no, it's tradition the people will follow the politicians anyway. that's in our tolerant nature....which is tolerant on the outside and intolerant on the inside. but that's a different story

but........with the coming of Geert Wilders things are changing.

he is dead set against giving any money to greece and he has a lot of followers.....

he is considered political incorrect so most people will not tell they have voted for him.
but he is in their hearts.

a strange thing is going on here....because wilders is part of our government.

we have two big parties here....central-right orientated...so the market is important and not the people behind it. together they don't have a majority and therefore they needed the wilders party called pvv. a lot of peeps voted for him a year ago so he would be in the lead anyway but because he is politicaly incorrect, other parties wouldn't work with him.
there is an agreement that he will back the two parties up whenever he can but he has the freedom to go against it.

it's difficult to explain....but we have the same sort of government as Denmark now has with a party that is not politcal correct.
so, with these sentiments in the background.....our government wants to help but the people don't.
as far as I know, we will pay.....and bleed for it...

always have been this way...
