Let me know an employee that pays 15% of their wages please?
And if you take all the money paid in, obviously it won't cover the amount they take out as recipients live much older than 65, when the program was set up.

jvaski: I assure you that many of us paid at least that much over the years with SSI, Unemployment, and Self Employmnet Tax......
Had the government invested that money and made interest on it ( instead of robbed it ) it would have easily paid for our retirement.
Combine that with regulating or socialized healthcare - we'de be looking pretty good about now ..........
But I don't expect any conservative to own up to those facts ,,,
