i love the fizzy white.. gavi is one of my favourites.. i dont think that rose is "jus cold diluted red tasting like white" at all.. in fact it is one of my favs as it goes with everything.
as to red.. i don't really like the dry reds, i feel they often leave a bit of nasty aftertaste and have this nack of sticking to my tongue-buds, but if i were to choose red i would go for the fruity versions.. hmm
couldn't say taste buds.. cos it's not what i was referring to.. u know those little buds on ur tongue that are supposed to taste stuff.. well they have dexterity and form.. and i dunno what the hell they're called, so hence the term!

I am Red in winter especially crianza or gran reserva Rioja, In summer to heavy so tinto de verrano or white.
Fizzy not fussed except Cava is as good if not better than "champagne" and a lot cheaper. Thats just a yuppy fashion thing.
Rose to me is just cold diluted red tasting like white???
