Sailfree: Did you know that there is such a thing as a remote for a
CARAVAN?
WEll I did not until I saw one in action just this weekend.
Sitting out in the sun, noticed a caravan moving, and though nothing of it for a moment until I noticed the front of it was in full view and no car or wagon pulling it.
Eh? so jumped off my chair to see what is going on.
Oh yes it was remote control. The man who was the owner had a gismo in his hand and was standing a bit away from the van. There it went reversed out of his driveway onto the road, and then turned and came down to a corner turned again and then to where he had parked his vehicle to hook it up to. Unreal and unbelievable well there you go and that is not the fairies that moved it, it was indeed a remote control. Hmmmm what next.

I thought you have had had too much schnapps or whatever it is over there, so googled it and yes, there is a remote for a caravan. Hopefully there will be no quips from the guys about women reversing caravans by remote control.

Nice wow you having doubts on me! indeed bad girl. Googled it to make sure eh! yes amazing what gismos you can get nowadays. Funny though.

Actually yes Sail I did. Amazing gadgets that allow you to put a van just where you want it .Most are used to get a caravan in and out of driveways,before being linked up to the car.Must say the first time I saw it ,I thought, here we go men and their toys.

WEll I noted the same caravan last week as it was taken away to garage for winter! hehehhe more fun watching it move by itself.
quick I need a remote for the trailer - since I can't reverse the thing when going to the dump....

Quickest and cheapest gadget to fit would be a couple of garden canes with ribbon on the top taped to the back two corners.... you can see easily when the trailer is moving off the intended line and easier to reverse it!!
Just thought it may help!
