Love and respect yourself first. At the first sign he is playing head games with you, stop it before it goes on and you get attached. Some people feel like puting others down so they can feel good. Sad, those people can't really be happy. There are good men out there too. Hope you start meeting some of them. Wish you the best.

Come on, some men lie, but women don't? Please. Maybe women don't lie as much as some men, but they sure make up of it in another area where they can't make up their mind or always changing their mind or absolutely don't know what they want period. JMO
What's upsetting is that it seems most women are attracted to men who habitually upset them and crush their dreams only to find the latest and greatest model. I'm one of the guys that is overlooked because I look too nice, too confident ... must not appear to be a enough of a bad boy ... they're wrong! I'm a badass, but also sincere, loyal and faithful ... and would stand by my woman. Just need to find one!

I don;t agree as it is a matter of degree - most women simply do not do the "notch on the belt " thing period. and then try to excuse it by saying we're "wired" that way. the species is supposed to evolve and men need to take responsibility for the feelings of the women they sleep with period.

..... Do you really believe that all men at all ages in their lives are the notching types? I myself believe I am only responsible for my own feelings and I;ll definitely take the GI Jane type who wants no favors in getting what she wants any day. Oh, why do we have to evolve and in what direction and to who's liking?.... I mean we are not programmable or living by other's expectations.....

This is from a guy's point of veiw. Asking why is only important to a point. If your wanting psychology. take a course on child psychology. Most adults are only big kids. Geting over it: Look at your abilities. If you have close friends, family, coworker. See how you brighten their life. And see how special you are in the world. Then don't make it harder for interested people to get with you. Though do make sure they deserve your trust and feelings. Start small and grow. People all (but me of course) are faulty. In the words I was given you have to find one you can put up with.

First, follow your instincts...If i have to chase a man...he is emotionally unavailable. Period. move on. If a mature man wants you, he will LET you know, there will be no doubt. Don't sleep with him and see if he is still interested. If you sleep with him and he splits, well that's rather high school. Make sure it's YOU he wants...not just your body. Remember, actions speak louder than words, they always will, talk is cheap.
