Speak of the troll… Got a strange mail with an attached link (that I didn’t click on), and, either it’s a coincidence or I’ve really got some kind of vermin, but gmail refused to work. Scanning the whole machine (and hoping that it’s a coincidence).

I had my CS account hacked into today. I know that because there was one profile in my WVM list who is a pal of mine and would not have deleted him as I do ost others. Yet it is gone though I checked and his profile is still active.
Mind you, I have thoughts on this but will remain mum.

I have had some “things” erased I know CS does it random so there is room for more pictures, messages, contacts, etc.
Some of my messages have benn erased which is normal but also some of my contacts have disappeared –or maybe they have blocked me-
Any way they can hack my account there is nothing secret –nor interesting- there.
Hi ooby....... I don't use this site very often, but reckon by your thread, that this site has been hacked!!!
In response to: I haven't heard from her in over 6 months and all of a sudden I get an email from her with nothing but a link and nothing in the subject line. I pasted the link in my address bar and it took me to a fake virus scan saying my computer is infested with viruses and started doing a bogus scan. I shut the page immediately. Have any of you gotten the same email? It went to 4 other people besides me.
I´ve already said in a previous post that it is not my account on this site that was hacked, but my private yahoo account, so don´t worry.

I think you´ve got the wrong end of the stick here. My CS account hasn´t been active for three months and has not been hacked. It is my private yahoo account that I had problems with.

That`s okay, I don`t mind the wrong end of the stick.
It`s just that the emails were all from CS members with whom I`d had private contact ..... old emails. No-one from my "real" adress book.
To my way of thinking, it does no harm to alert the site through which I believe the "contact" was made. Took a minute of my time.
And I waste far more than that most days just gazing into space and thinking.....
