I deliberately stayed at home when we changed to 2000 because of all the scaremongering. And what happened? I missed out on celebrating a once in a lifetime event.
My Son turns 18 on the day the world is supposed to end. We are going to have a huge party and write ourselves off. I should be dead approximately 2 hours before anyone else.

My Verdict on 2012:
When the end comes you will not see it coming. Just like the dinosaurs, we will be blissfully unaware when the universe folds us into a neat little memory that no one will be left to remember.
On the bright side, 2012 marks the beginning of what is to come. For many the 20th century was too good to say goodbye to and as such the future might as well be the end of it all.
Remember: In order to predict the future, it must have already happened in which case everything you do has already been done. Does life feel that way to you?
