Yes I would and have, but I did get stung by one man, he ticked all the right boxes and I always said the tell tale signs are there. We just have to look out for them, one being not able to spend a night out. So when this man booked us a lovely night out for new year's eve, I really thought that he was. Until two weeks later a woman rings me, calling me all sorts of names, and I was a marriage wrecker......
I was totally shocked and when I challenged him in the middle of Grafton st, he started to cry and beat himself calling himself names....I walked away from him and deleted his number. But it took me along time to get over that event.
Funny enough I'm separated and was thinking that when originally joined. Would people think hmmmm is she separated really ( I am) but I guess you have to take people at their word until their is reason not to. I'm very trusting but at the same time you have to be careful.

I was seperated for 11 years before I got divorced. Have met guys from here who were actually seperated and some who werent, same as in real life.

Given that it can take many years to actually get divorced... yes, I would, until proven otherwise.
I have been on one date from CS and he was single never married..I have been asked out by others on here...and from my experience most have no problem with saying they are married or in a relationship.
im seperated..i know im genuine..so yeah..

However it would depend on some additional scenarios really.
Is she still hung up over him, is their kids involved, drama.
Does she ever want kids or more kids...etc
I couldn't just base a woman over her relationship status.
I want to know a lot more before i participate offline.

A parent male/female would should never be concidered separated from his/her kids. Ye make it sound like a competition between the user and the used. Fact is in any relationship and I'm not saying going out with someone is a 'relationship' it's just a mutual exploration of the other.Once a parent always a parent, and family comes first for both sides of exploration.Therin lies the destructive element of new relationships not the spouses.

Ummm.... I believe the OP was referring to the 'Marital Status' part of the profile and not whether the member is/was a parent.

Nope, not the same thing... the marital status is the only section with the 'separated' option.
My humblest apologies Libra. I still find the question a little absurd though.
Perhaps the option should read 'legally separated'. However my advise would be as previous 'why not'
