I think he has been on the slippery slope for a while now but this will be the final nail. Although reports suggest that there are a few more nails being lined up if this one doesn't do for him....

Actually I really don't think we need a President. The Role of President and Prime Minister should be filled by the one person. Thats what the US has. And he is paid less. We cant afford to pay someone to be a nothing more than an ambassador, to shake hands with foreign dignitaries and have a nice comfy job until retirement.

it's a 3 horse race now, the latest opinion poll has higgins on 23% gallagher on 20% and mcguinness on 19% with the margin of error it's neck and neck, norris is down to 11% with mitchell polling under 10%

hoestly i think his connection with europe could be harmful at present, he is a much better speaker than mitchell but often comes across as arrogant, mairead mcguinness may have done well thoughsaoirse65: Hi K I agree, I think a lot of people in this country are still too homophobic to even entertain the notion of a Gay President. His alleged Disability Fraud bothers me a lot more than the fact that he is Gay. ..Naieve of me I know to expect Honesty in a politician but I liked Norris..d expected more of him... Good thing that I am not terribly interested in politics or I would be devestated.
Ah, people never cease to disappoint me too! I liked him as well and to find he was yet another with his 'snout in the country trough' makes me question my own judgement.
She is the only one who will be standing by the time they have finished each other off. She has my vote anyway.
