Hi there,

I'll be soon in DC for 2 months.

Do you know any website which could help me in my research of an accommodation?

I have found some websites but that's always for one year at least...

Thanks for you help :)

I lived in Virginia for three years. May I suggest that you don't look for accommodations in D.C. as D.C. has a very high crime rate.

There are many hotels in Virginia. If cost is a factor, try these towns:

Fairfax
Stirling
Culpepper
Herndon
Loudoun
Manassas - this is about 45 minutes from D.C.

If cost isn't a factor, Vienna is very close to D.C. It has a huge mall called Tyson Mall. It is also about 15 minutes from the C.I.A., in case your interested and about 30 minutes from Reagan Int'l Airport.

Whatever website you use, just make sure you find someplace on upper Connecticut Avenue or Georgetown; study a map of DC; the upper areas north of Rock Creek are reasonably safe and clean. The area known as Foggy Bottom is extremely nice; large houses with rooms to rent. Good luck and enjoy your stay.
