Tulefel: Two left can indeed do right, I believe in it.

As to another options…

Take the remaining sock (ie, the one that’s left), put into it a considerable amount of small coins (or nuts, or sand, or pebbles), knot the opening and voila! – you’ve got assault weapon that isn’t illegal.

Take all the left socks, fasten them on a rope, stretch it from aft to fore and voila! – you’ve got your own set of signals (that an experienced yachtsman perhaps would be able to decipher in the right way).

If after that there still will be singles in your wardrobe, you can squeeze them into shoes that you plan to put away for the next season.

I will take the last suggetion better because I am for peace and I do not have any vessel either.

Although I do have some shoes missing too confused

or wait not I just have a pair with “different ones” and another pair with the same "different ones"!

With socks is fine but with shoes shock

Can you imagine having the same style, size and color for 25 pairs of shoes?

That would be very boring uh oh

In the past there was a President of Mexico who loved to get new suits, so he had like 30 exactly the same so people would not critize him for his vanity.

After conferring with my left socks, I’ve got impression that they wouldn’t mind differences between shoes. Though given the choice, they would prefer to be signal flags. They are adventurous, the single socks of mine.

From one who lives in France, and who frequents French supermarkets, I can vouch for the fact that many French people ARE smelly - especially the women. They often reek of stale sweat, and it's not pleasant. I know that deodorants are on sale here, because I buy and use them. I have no idea why the French have yet to discover the value of them.

I’m not sure that any amount of deodorant would help in a case of unwashed body. Though there is a solution:

Some time ago baby-girl forgot to hide a bar of soap. It was rather thin already, but would be enough to wash hands with it a few more time. Or at least, that was the plan. But the cruel reality overthrew this plan.

When she returned home, she found only few small bits of soap lying on the bathroom floor. And as she had her parrot (then only one) flying free, so she applied deduction and came to conclusion that something wasn’t right there. We hoped for the worst, but nothing happened, besides that the bird’s output smelled orange blossom for days.

Hence, the real beauty comes from inside of you!

Baby-girl’s parrots like garlic. Well… the smell issue may be disputable, but it’s good for health. Especially when it sits on your shoulder and tries to “comb” your hair.

He was afraid of garlic or couldn’t afford soap? Perhaps, he was French after all.

@ LAnglaise - your pseudo is telling the world that you are an English woman!
L'Anglais would indicate that you're an English man.

If you walked into any Brit supermarket in summer I'm sure you'd find plenty of smelly Brit women.
