That's not only hypothetical (theoretical is a different thing) but unlikely as they voted by such a large majority 71% /29% to reject a United Ireland and offically join the UK (Good Friday Agreement).
But if by some chance the Northern people did see the error of their previous vote there would be the 96% Yes / 4% No vote from the Soarstat to contend with.
