Anyone into Holistic medicine/alternative medicines

I am in bad need of something to help with serious headaches, take strong pain killers if it gets really bad but don't like taking them to much as not good for the body.

A little advice would be great right now frustrated frustrated

There are pressure points on your thumb, not shown on that video, that I find better.

With your opposite thumb, press on the pad of the thumb for 20 to 30 seconds. Then squeeze each side of the thumb by pressing next to the nail. Feel for tender spots as you press these points around your thumb. If you find a tender spot, massage it with circular pressure. Repeat on your opposite thumb.

There could be an imbalance or a blockage, and not necessarily physical ones.

The pressure point on the leg (shown in the video) is good for releasing blockages. Regular massage of that point on both sides can help with a miriad of aches and pains, as well as rebalancing the so-called ying/yang.

A little advice would be great right now

1- Eat almonds. Almonds contain pain-relieving chemicals that might reduce your headache symptoms

2 - Apply a compress with vinegar (preferably home-made, apple vinegar) to your head.

3 - Take a lime, cut it in half, and rub it on your forehead. The throbbing will go away.

and if they are really bad, try hydrotherapy... its hot and cold compresses..Wring a small towel in hot water and place on the neck for two minutes. Repeat for one minute with a towel wrung in cold water. Continue doing this for up to 20 minutes.

Hope these help! :)
