News for 'TTM' - (DJ Tata Motor's Jaguar Land Rover To Create Over 1,000 Jobs In UK) LONDON (AFP)--Luxury car maker Jaguar Land Rover, owned by India's Tata Motors Ltd. (TTM), announced Thursday plans to create more than 1,000 jobs at a plant in central England, in a boost for the U.K.'s struggling economy. "The company has announced plans to recruit more than 1,000 members of staff at its advanced manufacturing plant in Solihull," JLR said in a statement. "These posts are being created in support of the business's stated ambition to deliver 40 significant product actions over the next five years thanks to a multi-billion-pound investment in product creation." Tata has enjoyed huge success with the Jaguar and Land Rover brands since acquiring them for $2.3 billion from U.S. car giant Ford Motor Co. (F) in 2008.
