I'm not a serial dater so I haven't gone on very many dates. I think guys who date a lot of different women are basically players and only want to score with a strange chic.
To me, a blind date is rife with anxiety. I went on a blind date a few years ago with a woman who was very religious and was looking for a man who she "could pray with". Anyone who knows me will know that this is a non started to say the least. The date was nice even in spite of the pouring down rain and the fact that I was waiting for her in the restaurant and she was waiting for me out in the parking lot. I finally went outside and found her. By the end of the meal, date #2 was doubtful so we decided to split the tab. We stayed in touch after that and I invited her to go out for a fun venue and she said she really wanted to go but was always too busy with her kids. We drifted apart.
I've met a number of women online who place their religious beliefs above a potential loving relationship which is something I'll never understand. Is this what god wants? To come between a man and a woman?
