My beaches ...I share one ...you share another .. Pelekas was the name of the town closest to this 1980's early beautiful beach on Corfu Greece towards Glyfada ...that side of the island ...anyway ,the only way down to it was by donkey or legging it .. and if you where lucky you could buy a bottle of wine from the old couple resting under the shade of their olive trees ...before 12.00 and after 1400 daytime ...the beach had 1 and half taverns ...the half was because the owner fished or crack crawled for whatever had long legged sea hard shelled delicacy he could find ...People did put up tents ...rubbish arrived ...Pelekas the town above the beach ...was then .how it is now ...I dread to imagine !!
