For *both* terbear and Boomboom...
My neice was diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia at 11 years old, and at 21, the medication they'd had her on, quit working.
She was given a 5% chance of recovery through a bone marrow transplant, but as there is/was NO cure for Fanconi... she could still die from various other forms of cancer after the transplant. (Average life expectancy for a Fanconi patient is 19)
Through sheer *faith*... she not only survived, but has NO signs of any of the Fanconi (which even the doctors do not understand), drives her own car around all over the place, is engaged to be married, and it's been 6 years since the transplant.
Now lets get those parties started
