Diesel is nearly as expensive as petrol now.
Diesel - 1.47 per litre
Petrol - 148 per litre

I assume its much the same in the rest of the country as well.

got dsl in my local station this morning at 143 per liter but have seen some stations putting it up as high as 155 per liter dunno

yes there was a quiet price increase last week of bout 3/4 cents per liter and as usual some retailers are taking advantage of it by adding a few cents for their own benefits mumbling

Petrol seems to have come back a bit ...diesel static or gone up slightly around here. €1.44 the weekend for diesel. Down midlands yesterday petrol and diesel 145 each in one station and petrol 144 elsewhere in same town.
Saw diesel 141 further south but wouldnt trust it, anyone a few cents cheaper up here has been raided and closed down, and one or two selling the dodgy stuff at same price as proper diesel as well.
I think diesel gets dearer in winter due to demand for heating oil so hope it stays mild

Diesel is a precious fuel with all the things that can be done with it. It's very undervalued and in reality it's still very cheap. The major question is where is our future energy going to come from when diesel diminishes and is over 100 euro a litre?
