I would just be honest and say exactly that. I have a guy friend that just dropped that bomb on me...and i had to be honest. I told him I cherished his friendship and I was sorry I didn'r feel the same but he is a very special friend, and that i wanted to remain friends. He got upset and I told Him I would rather have him around as a friend for a lifetime than someone who I could possibly not work out with since the feelings weren't mutual. He finally got it...at first he didn't like the answer becuase apparently women use that as an excuse it seems. I was just honest!

I have known the guy for two and a half years but there just aren't any sparks. I love him dearly as a friend and don't want to hurt him. But I want to date and if he knew, he would be hurt. He isn't from on this site.

in my experiance its best just tell the truth the sooner the better.I actually sold a home and moved to another city to only find out in a couple of months that she wasnt in love with me.And the staying friends part that wont work either.He is better off if you just move on.

My last relationship was just that he loved me but I

I've become pretty used to that scenario as this is all I have ever known. I could write a book on.
I think the easiest way out is to just put a gun to your head and pull the trigger.
I am very reluctant to begin a new relationship with any woman that I'm not TOTALLY CRAZY about. If it doesn't work out let her be the one to break up with me. I'm tired of always having to be the person who wants to call it off.
