I've been having a chat with a Turkish man and it's been really interesting so far conversing

He is an archaeologist and enjoys the same kind of reading as I do, plus learning about other cultures.

His English is pretty good and I'm looking forward to learning more about his country which is one of the things I enjoy about this site .. it's not ALL about dating wine

My stray cat is officailly catchable, she now is letting me pick her up to give her a cuddle, now l just have to wait for the kittens to be bought out of hiding. She is a real sweetheart, l dont understand how her owners could just leave her behind like that.

Someone is definitely hacking into my CS account. Before I wasn't sure, as I had the house pic up, but this morning I changed my pic to the blank face pic, in fact only about 10min ago - a legitimate choice to have our profile. Now someone has changed it to the winter photo of me in my front garden. Defo a hacker.

Oh, well, whoever you are, have fun reading my emails.grin

That's lovely she is coming round to affection. My friend had a cat like that, wandered in and avoided me at first, then one day just hopped up on my lap and stayed there for ages. Even clawed me when I tried to lift her off laugh

They can just wander off, though cats won't usually leave love and food. Usally a reason why they leave.

I changed my password recently after the first suspected hacking. I've had to go out now I change it again. I believe, however, that whoever is responsible, is able to get in regardless. Thanks, though, mangoblissed.

The cat didnt wander off in this case it was the owners who wandered off and chose to leave her behind...mongrels very mad

Not so nice when that happens. Makes you wonder why people don't advertise in gum tree to find a good home, if they can or no longer want to keep their pets.

Who knows what methods hackers are using to do these things. Only hope it's not someone on the inside uncertain

Because they dont care and its people like them who have helped create the feral cat problem, they left behind an entire female who now has kittens. If l wasnt feeding her she would be killing wild life to survive and her kittens and her would go onto to breed more kittens. Once she brings the kittens out of hiding l will be giving them to the rspca, l have already found a home for thier mum.

well done Faithe, glad to hear that someone will look after a mum and bubs, and stop the continuation of the feral cat cycle.

I am feeling pretty clever today, I managed to fix my garage door that broke at the start of the year... it is now safe to open and it was only a $5 fix.Now I just have to work out a way of getting the spring back on for the auto door opener.

but.. I will work that one out too!wink but... open to suggestions laugh

Good on you jem. I love that feeling of having achieved something that I would usually give a guy the job to do, when I have one around laugh

thanks Mango, I have been thinking on this fix for a couple of weeks and had a idea moment this morning.

I am the first to admit that I am not very good at playing the helpless femalelaugh but it is a skill that I am working on!

Well, I have emailed CS, so I look forward to hearing back from them. At least I know now for certain. I think that by playing around with my photos, it is the hacker's wya of letting me know they are there. Cat and mouse games, sheesh. They must think I have saucy emails, which I don't. Still, I would like to think they are kept private.
