Hi curls - hope your eye is on the mend? Have a rant and a vent whenever you want, not too many folk around at this time anyway laugh

That's scary that, I am terrified of anything like that happening to my right eye as that is my full sight eye, my left is weaker blues

Do you carry a basic first aid kit with you? Might be something to think about - put eye drops top of the list?? hug

Scary when you have to drive home and look after yourself too

Hope you are ok now

Actually all jokes aside it makes you realize just how lucky we are to have our sight gave me a fright I have never experienced that much grief with my eyes before. But I'm all good now thank you hug thumbs up

Serene grab an Iandian cookbook, some of their vegetarian meals are excellent. I know the food that they share at work is lovely.

my grump for the day...

away on days off from work, sharing a theme party with friends this weekend. Got everything ready to pack, and reminded myself to "Make Sure You pack the CAMERA"
So I got to put the camera out where I could see it, grabbed the charger and lead and chucked in the computer bag.

Just went to upload a photo off the camera to upload for the Wet comp and...

I have the charger, I have the lead but the camera is still sitting on the table back in Melbourne and I am in Bendigo......

ARRRGGGGHHHHHH!

thankfully a friend is coming up and is going to go grab it for me!

Oh Curly, bit of a fright...comfort

I have had today home for similar... I went to a doctor tho..

For a about 3 weeks now, my eye (right) waters, then it started twitching, then last thurs I could not feel the right side of my face.

I have no idea what is happening, except it makes it so hard to feel like this at work.

So Cat scan for me on Friday...

and this constant eye that weeps and my nose feels different from right to left.. I am a bit concerned..

When it first started I went to the optomistrist thinking I needed to have an eye check and change of glasses... but nup... my eyes have levelled out and no deterioration in sight. I have tried eyedrops, nothing... so now I am trying some magnesium until Friday, but I have a referral to a specialist as well..

Not happy Jan... !!!!!!sigh

After a week without being able to put on my glasses, I have realised how reliant I am on them. BUT I have also realised that I have relied on them too much. cool I have now realised I can do some more without them. Except everyone seems to put everything in 12 point when I really need 20 point.

Gee Merri that doesn't sound real good hope you are going to be ok as for me it must have been dirt in my eye as I am good today but it did give me a scare the one eye kept weeping and my nose was running kept blowing it and couldn't stand the light. Kept putting drops in. I have had dirt in my eyes before but nothing like yesterday.

Yours is still weeping and causing you grief fingers crossed for you comfort hug our eyes are so important at times we take everything for granted until something like this happens.

Keep us informed how it goes bouquet

Hi Curly, I am glad yours came right.. its so important, and perhaps it was just a bit of dirt...

For me, the weepy eyes is a nuisance, but I have had this for a couple of weeks now, but the face part that I cannot feel is really worrying me..

I hope its just something that maybe associated with sinus, but its strange because I have no allergies, and no sinus, never had.. so clearly, I do doubt the doctor, but I will comply and go for the tests..

Anyway, Cat scan on Friday should rule out the sinus part.. then to sort out why half my face feels numb.. that is the worry... sigh

Hi Merri 'sounds a bit like Bell's Palsy' a friend of mine had it for a couple of weeks but treatment from her Doc cleared it up.It looks like your Doc is very through so you are in good hands.

ooooh Merri, hope you get to the bottom of that? The sooner you know what you are dealing with the better, less time to worry about it?
