I was told that she had really gone down hill and wasnt recognizing people and would not leave her room. I was dreading what l would see....but instead l found my same happy Aunty who knew who l was and we spent a lovely afternoon out in the fresh air and sunshine together, first time she has left her room for weeks apparantly. It was a lovely afternoon. Its made my christmas for me, l couldnt have asked for a better christmas present

Yes it is lovely but l always get angry after lve visited her cause she has more than enough family who could take her in...she doesnt have to be in that place. When l told one of the nurses that she was back in her room she jokingly said " you could have kept her" my response was l wish l could have.

Makes me miss my dear old friend first christmas without her
Feels strange it is sad when family ignor the elderly like my friend , now her greedy family are hanging around for their inheritance. What they have missed out is the pleasure of her company and wisdom over the years to me that is priceless. Your aunty sounds lovely.

She is my Aunt by ex marriege but we are very close still, we have always been close and l love her dearly. I would love nothing more than to become my Aunts carer but l already a care for my mother.
