thank you john...this is what first attracted me to mr poe
poe has a knack for over describing things...i dream of the day when i find her,my annabel lee...we shall indeed live by the sea...poe was a sargent major at west point and a critic for the boston globe...he did more than write poems and short stories...the first detective story where the detective used logic was his...murders in the rue morgue predates anything sir authur conan doyle did...there is another side of poe.
i totally agree john...i have read poe from a young age..its amazing what a grief stricken man can do...i use to do all my book reports in school on poe...teachers suspected i was sick lol...

These taped plautitudes and second-rate readings do not do justice to the genius of EAP... Your Teachers were probably correct... So..?

It doesn't matter if "These taped plautitudes and second-rate readings do not do justice to the genius of EAP..." if they capture someone's imagination and open doors to understanding and appreciation.
The sickness is maybe to try and close doors for others, by telling them their enjoyment is not good enough.
Helen, thy beauty is to me Like those Nicean barks of yore That gently, o'er a perfumed sea, The weary, way-worn wanderer bore To his own native shore.
On desperate seas long wont to roam, Thy hyacinth hair, thy classic face, Thy Naiad airs have brought me home To the glory that was Greece, And the grandeur that was Rome.
Lo, in yon brilliant window-niche How statue-like I see thee stand, The agate lamp within thy hand, Ah! Psyche, from the regions which Are Holy Land!

The Beauty
The beauty is the holder of all things. The tenderness of the other is forever. To love, and hold each other in their arms is most precious.
To have the holding of two, coming together, and the soft, sweetness of body and hands is love. The softness of the hands and bodies throughout the night, until all is slept well.
And when the other awakens, the look into the eyes, the compassion and caring, and the love and beauty of two souls will last forever.
That’s love. To awaken again to my love and the beautifulness of the day is what makes all of the confusions and frustrations in life worthwhile. I will love you with tenderness and understanding each and every day. God bless our souls.
My heart pounds trying to listen to yours. Every beat is an indication of anticipation. My bleeding heart would take you into the blessed Heaven. Listen to my heart beat... let it be in sync with yours forever.
To the ends of the Earth, let us beat together, so that all of the Earth and Heavens know, that we are one. Blessed be the ones who know, that this is the secret of life. Happiness is begotten to us, and all that are humble.
