RICE PUDDING Large Batch

4 Eggs
1 Cup Sugar
1/4 Tsp Salt
5 cups of Milk *
4 Cups of Cooked Rice (2 cups of raw rice makes 4 cups of cooked rice)
1 Tbsp of Vanilla
1 Cup of Raisins
Cinnamon

You'll need a 9X12 baking pan, preferably one with a lid. They sell them at the Dollar store for 3 bucks. The lid will keep the rice pudding from drying out or you can use plastic wrap.

Get the rice going first. While the rice is cooking do the following.
Butter the pan. Beat the eggs with a whisk in a big bowl. Dump in the sugar, milk, Mix well. Add Raisins, and Vanilla. Mix again. Pour mixture into a 9X12 roasting pan add cooked Rice and stir to evenly distribute rice. Dust top with Cinnamon. Bake at 350 for 55 minutes. For a nice change of pace instead of raisins use fresh blueberries or “Craisins”.

* If you don't have fresh milk but a lot of powdered milk on hand you can use that. 4 1/2 cups of water and 1 2/3 cups of powdered milk will make 5 cups of milk. Sift the powdered milk if it's all clumped up, you'll be glad you did. Also, it's ok to use Minute Rice.

Sounds good to me. I used to have rice and raisins for breakfast w/a little sugar and milk. Loved it...

The only cookies I ever made were chocolate chip but that was when Pink Floyd was popular.
Today I started to get back into baking bread. It's kind of cold so the dough took forever to rise so I kneaded it and put it in the fridge and I'll finish it tomorrow. I use to bake a lot of bread on the farm when I had a big wood burning cookstove. I did all my cooking on that I had to learn to cook on an electric stove after I moved. You can have gas or electric stoves, they suck. Give me a woodstove any day.

Bake I LG potato per person ahead of time. When its cool, scoop out potato from the baked skin. Mix potatoe with whatever ingredients you want to add...Bacon, Cream cheese, Cheddar, Onions, Garlic, S&P etc. Fill potato skins, top with cheese and rebake until brown and bubbly on top (30-40) mins. Top with sour cream and a sprinkle of Chives. wine

10 min cheese cake
make the base with any biscuits you like,i use oat biscuits with just enough butter to hold it together as i like a crumbly base, press into tin and chill in fridge
mix equal amounts cream cheese and creme freiche in bowl with whatever flavour you like, add one pack of powdered gelatin mix with warm water and mix it all together well, pour over base and put in fridge...will set really quickly

my favourite flavours to make are baileys and white chocolate, put both in bowl and melt over pan of boiling water, allow to cool b4 adding to cheese mix
toblerone/dime bar/any chocolate same as with white choc baileys
strawberry/raspberry blend and sieve to remove seeds

if you have really sweet tooth you can add sugar to ur taste at the end of the mixin process
