I wrote a similar letter to Santa, wanting a good woman.I was surprised by his reply; "Good women are few and far between and often times will be on the other side of the pond. I could bring you one in my sack, but it would be better for you to find one on your own, to be certain that she is the right gift for you."
He gave me a telescope for my Christmas present.

Santa gave me the telescope thinking it would make it easier to find a good woman on a distant shore.
Hasn't worked yet, but I never look a gift horse in the mouth!
