It sounds stupid but how you answer to questions and your positivity can make someones day. My best friend and I have taken on a new positive attitude and decided that whenever anyone asks the general, "how are you" instead of answering the generic ,"I am fine thanks" we reply, "I am fantastic thanks, life is beautiful" making you realise how much you can project onto another person with your feeling and thoughts.

Thank you for your reply. I am sort of the same way if they have a chance to ask me first. I may not say "I'm fantastic !", but I will at least acknowledge that there question was meaningful to me and I will always ask about how they are doing and wish them a nice day.
Sometimes we just gotta do nice things for ourselves...Sunday seems like a good day for that....Sunday paper, hot coffee, soothing music, being kind to our minds and bodies.

This is true too. Very good point. Go ahead, be nice to you today then.

Jeeepers: Good morning folks. I'm leaving the house now,but I'll be back. I'm hoping to see a lot of "kind suggestions" when I return. Have a great day.
Nothing ? No one has any suggestions on how to make some one smile ?

There are so many needy out there. I would say, give a street person a few dollars, maybe even a five--you don't have to do it all the time or to everybody you see, but once in awhile. Often just having a little money on them can make a world of difference. I know the argument of possibly they'll use it for liquor, etc... but I guess if you're going to donate you have to do it without making that judgment.

As a lot of you already know, I had a spinal surgery about five months ago. I am still quite disabled because of this. My walking requires me to use a cane. Well today a friend of mine took me and dropped me off at a bank while she took care of of one of her errands near by. She had to park her car in a lot that was up a steep hill, so,when I finished my banking I just waited at the base of that hill, knowing that my friend would shortly be picking me up right where I was waiting. There was a kind lady who walked all the way down the hill and asked if I were going to try to go up that hill. I said "No Way !!" Her reply was, "well if you were, you weren't going to do it on your own, I will help you". I told her what a very nice thing to say, not many would have walked down that hill and then offer to help another back up that same hill. She made me smile !
Would you do something like that to help a stranger have a better day ?
