My daughter had a good childhood with little worries.
She cannot imagine what my life was like, because she suffers with me.
I think thats why she is so involved in church, she thanks God for her life
and works in the community for those that are less fortunate.
I'm grateful she has not suffered much but she needs to know and understand the suffering of others.
Understanding comes early for some and later for others

I've suffered and I am better for it. I can see suffering in other people and will help if I can.
I know many people that have suffered little and they cannot see the need in others
so they don't know how or what to do to help. So they do nothing.

The findings of the study were fairly obvious, all apart from heart rate decreasing when experiencing compassion.
It implies that altruism is a win win phenomenon, which is also fairly obvious, but to that extent its enlightening.
