What sort of Xmas gifts did you receive? (21)
Hi Wow factor,
i got a twelve year old bottle of malt i am sat here a third of the way down the bottle feeling mellow and relaxed and just at peace with myself if not the world, hope you are not too lonely today and chin up lass it can only get better !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stereo on a some motown on and then there is a bit of the boss on next not unhappy not lonely but not happy either NORMAL state of affairs really hurry up tuesday so its time for work yes sad aint it i volunteered so the married blokes get more time off !!!

Hi, sounds like you have had a nice afternoon. Ok, chin up, onwards and upwards!
Bottles of whisky (2), DVD's (2), chocolates, yorkshire pudding tins (don't ask) and a KINDLE, just what I wanted, also a leather case to keep it in. Bought my son one too so waiting for him to download loads of books onto it now. Visitors gone now so just me and my dogs curled up on the couch watching tv, absolute bliss. To put the icing on the cake, my youngest son proposed to his partner today, hid the ring in a cracker and go down on one knee. So happy that I've raised such a romantic loving son, I've had such a lovely day today.

The only prezzies i got were from 'me' and i bought both of them about a week before Christmas. A new Toaster from Sainsbury's and a new Acer Keyboard for my Desktop (Some of the letters were almost 'invisible' on my old one
) But it was a pleasant day.I cooked myself a nice roast dinner (Chicken.. As i'm not a great fan of Turkey)
I'd also bought a couple of DVD's a few days early. The first Sherlock Holmes movie. With Robert Downey Jr as Holmes and Jude Law as Watson.
I'm very much still a Jeremy Brett fan, when it comes to Sherlock. But the movie stands up in it's own right (Director - Guy Richie) The other was a movie entitled 'Unknown' starring Liam Neeson.
I spent Christmas at my daughters,no cooking,washing up etc..bliss,lol.
I love all my presents.
A dvd player and a the "Paul" dvd.
3cds, Il Divo,Coldplay and Will Young.
Stripey socks,because I love stripey socks,lol.
An Amaryliss plant.
Money,chocolates and a bottle of Vodka.
My dad treated me to 2 new sofas just before christmas,but they have to be made so won't get them until february.
Oh,almost forgot...I had a pair of lovely fluffy slippers too....
