Nuclear weapons, both ours and theirs have saved over a billion lives through lack of direct confrontation between large armies and subsequent civilian casualties.
So far, they have been well worth it, including the bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima which saved almost a million lives.

Exactly my point, our nuclear powers are already decreasing, while other contries stock up on uranium and continue to test fire into the sea. What exactly do you think communist countries are test firing these weapons for.. just an opinion once again

In order to be feared as they have noting ot offer other than intimidating trading partners with the west who live nearby in order to make up for their lack of ingenuity, resources and ability to allow their people freedom to gain anything to trade with.

What war and who? Man slowly is becoming more peaceful so seems to me that while political posturing may seem warlike, economics keeps them trading and talking rather than conquering and fighting is then norm so be specific please.
