Hhm ... I think its the opposite - it stays behind with those who treasure our memory as its our gift to them that we've shared. Although I guess in writing this and also believing that we are a spirit, that perhaps we do indeed take it with us as well. Good comment Leo.

I would say I see love this way. Perfection is part of the dream of course, but true love is what is most important. To find our soul mate, our kindred spirit, the man or woman who loves us with all their heart and soul.
In dreams and in love there are no impossibilities. Take away love, and our earth is a tomb. Love distills desire upon the eyes, love brings a bewitching grace into the heart. Paradise is always where love dwells.

Of course, certain people also carry the vibrational key to our hearts. Yet when our heart bursts open in ways we've never felt before, does this fit the definition of true love? I don't think so. I do think that this euphoria may be a catalyst of sorts, or a mirror which shows us more of who we are.
