I believe we are not superficial if we fall in love with looks..very exciting..that is the attraction, the magnet that takes us to the core..(centre)
Who knows what the world thinks, some ppl are cynical, some ppl are pushovers, & our rock..@ different stages of their lifes..lol

In response to: There seems to be a lot of us on this site. Personally, I've placed love on the back burner. At our age our looks seem to change day by day, not a good thing. So now what ? Do we cruise on our memories of past loves ? Keep hope alive against all odds ? As a male, I still want a woman who is trim, fit and attractive. Yet I only see what I want to see in my mirror. It's so hard to accept our aging, since we're every age that we've ever been.

Older men seem to be blind as to what they look like while attempting to attract younger women. Older women are more realistic. Bottom line; love knows no boundaries.

I have not put love on the back burner. Nor do I look in the mirror and expect to see a 25-year-old. I actually like the face that looks back at me.

I continue to believe that there is a guy out there who wants more than a trophy to stroke his ego.

While I Do understand the effects of time and gravity on people,
(Yes, I _Used to_ have lots of wavy auburn hair and semi straight, white teeth and a set of abs that could take a punch like a 3/4" sheet of plywood!)
I've tried to maintain a youthful attitude and outlook on life!
And, True....I'm more attracted to slightly younger women than I was 30 yrs ago...but I'd Jump at the chance to date an attractive Lady of my own age-group....with the ~Drive~ of a 35 yr-old..!!
Between the effects of nature and loss of general ~Interest~, there seems to be a much smaller percentage of Mature women that have maintained some form of desire for passion!

That's just how I see it....Prove me wrong . . . . . . . . . p l e a s e!!
love kiss
