I've never had a good pay cheque and been single for several centuries. There have been happy times and sad times. Such is life, regardless.

I suppose its all in how one looks at it. I figure the more money I have; the more I could help those less fortunate. And in my experience (don't hate me for saying this please), but work was a nice break from being in a relationship as it does get tiresome being around a person all the time.
