Intersting you said that. As a friend of mine just the other day was saying there are many soulmates but not all are romantic soulmates.

I really am interested in what the term " soulmate " means. I suspect it has a variety of meanings, depending upon who is using the term. From where does it arrive and when was it first used. Also, whoever coined the term, what were they experience??

Check out this link on soulmates on Wikopedia. My friend thinks me and another friend are soulmates. I have only known him a year and feel like I have known him all my life but we are just soulmates in friendship as he loves another. She believes that he and I were lovers in a past life. I don't believe in the past life theory myself but I really don't know if its plausible. So, if one was to believe in past lives; is this where the idea of soulmates may have started? I really don't know what to think about the whole soulmate idea myself though. I am on the fence with this one.

I had one fall right in my lap...many years ago...
Married her a year and a half later...then lost her to a bad liver.
I've seen several, here...that have definite Potential...
(I'd be ~Very Quickly~ on one knee for some..!!)

Get the books "Journey of the Souls and Destiny of Souls" kinda gives you a better understanding ...
