cloud747: US military identifies all four 'urinating' Marines
It is understood they served in Helmand province and were from a battalion based at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
US media reported that the unit belonged to the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, the actions in the video amount to a violation of the First Geneva Convention, which calls for the dead to be treated with dignity.
It could also constitute a breach of the US Uniform Code of Military Justice, for discrediting the armed forces.
Only thing is....They interpret the document in a Sharia court which allows them to piss on their enemy so they can get to the promise land. The promise land in this case is run by the USMC....
chris27292729: The same goes for your President Heydar Aliyev.-
Chriss,I didnt get what you are trying to say.Heydar Aliyev has died in 2003.and what the hell him to do with this topic? Can you specify your comment please?

In every conflict, war... the agreement of the Geneva convention have been broken therefore ther has been established a International court of justice as well as ad hoc tribunal but...none of these really work if you are a super power...
I think if you talk to most in the US Military, they will take a pretty dim view on what done. These four Marines have been identified, they are facing military tribunals, they are likely to be drummed out of the service with dishonorable discharges. If not get time in a Military prison...like Leavenworth.
The next time a Taliban or alQeada kills or maims some innocent Afghani with a IED, see if the Taliban/alQeada is ID and placed to a tribunal for punishment.
jono7: yes, we all know atrocities are committed from both sides. i still don't think one justifies the other. jmo.
No, it doesn't, all it does is reduces any individual committing these acts to that of a mere savage. I'd say the same about those that support or condone these acts, they're no better.
Where is the self worth of these people, is there no humanity left in them?

johnaustin123: Perhaps we should make our efforts to not start wars in the first place.
Agreed! And, I believe we have considering the US was attacked by by those protected by the then government of Afghanistan and, Saddam invaded Kuwait, and the US as part of the UN, along with a coalition, expelled Iraq from that country and only stopped when Iraq agreed to ceasefire conditions that they then renegged on and thus, hostilities resumed with the end result - regime change and Saddam ousted from power with Iraq now in full compliance with the ceasefire conditions.

Exactly! Some can attribute this to the stress of war however, disipline has to prevail and, as it is policy to not disgrace the dead, even if they are the enemy, these individuals are poor soldiers and ill disiplined troops. A fact that will be brought forth at all their courts martials I'm sure.
Human Rights violation, and democratic rights, in your country, does not making somebody, proud of,after nearly 20 years of the Aliyevs, father and son, ruling you.-

Now we getting somewhere Chris! A lot better than most countries where there is the same guy for decades so, let's talk about the bad countries like Syria, Egypt, China, North Korea etc. Places where the same ruler is in place until he is forced out of office rather than elected out.

stop diverting the discussion sir. are you comparing USA with syria noe? this is a sign of desparation in argumental power. USA claims to be the center of democracy and invades other countries to export that democracy. syria does not claim so.
