At least you can watch the Cleveland Indians' home games, John. Whereas I can't watch the Detroit Tiger's play most of their games, except maybe when they play the Indians in regular season.

Ahh, I'd have a season pass if I lived that close. Heck , I have a 3-hour drive to Detroit but I make it to about 8 home games each season.... especially when the play the Indians or Yankees there. Wild Thing - Major League

I went to old Cleveland Municiple Stadium, that huge ballpark many times when I was young, before they built Progressive field It seated 83,000 people. They don't build them that big anymore. My Grandfather was a sheet metal worker; he manufactured the original Chief Wahoo rotating sign. They used horses back then to lift the sign in place.
One day he was on the corner of East 9th and Euclid Ave. to erect a new sign. A pully was installed near the new sign location. The horses did the lifting. Grandpa's job was to stand on a ladder with a guide rope. As he was fighting the wind with both hands, his pants fell down. Fortunately, POP had his usual pink polka-dotted underwear on! As the story goes, he stopped traffic on one of the busiest intersections in the world because people were laughing so hard and beeping their horns.
I believe that Detroit is good, even though they yell Detroit sucks in the video:
