I still plan to be here when I become a member of that sector of society. To me, "older generation" is 60s and above. There are plenty of people here who are in their 40s.

LOL, no offense, but when your in your 40's(imo), 50's and 60's is who I look for. To date I have seen only a hand full of them around.

Out of that hand full only 1 has spoke to me. I like to cut up just as much as the next person, but I'm also looking for........whatever, relationship, companionship, heck I'd even settle for a date.rolling on the floor laughing

Again, please don't take this wrong, I enjoy coming here, but it would be nice to carry on a conversation without a hour or day delay for an answer.

Why would I take offense to the fact you want to date older men?

dunno

Me, I've always preferred to date younger men and they've always preferred to date me. Now, when I say "younger," 10 years younger is about my limit. Basically within 40-50 age range is my preference.

I don't consider these forums as a chat room, even though chatting certainly does occur. But if I want to chat with someone on a one-on-one basis, I'll email them and go from there.

Hi Claypot and good morning all. There are a lot of men out there in the 50's. Trouble is they've all shaved their heads (nothing wrong with that), put an earing in (nothing wrong there either)and only look at women under 40 (thats where the problem lies).I seem to attract men in their mid to late 40's who all assumed my age to be 45-50.I too feel uncomfortable with a big age gap.Since coming on this site (the 1st one)I have enjoyed the forums so much that meeting the one has now become less important.Im not missing out ...they are.dancing

I was taught to always be respectful of the "older generation" and that rule only has served me well throughout my life.

Nothin against this older generation??? Pfffffffffffttttttt!! A lot of 'the younger' ones here have no experience with a mature long term relationship.......nor rhat that's a bad thing. They are still plenty young and lots of life yet to live.

No........you are definitely NOT on the wrong site!!! These forums are full of laughter, wisdom and information (We are never too old to learn somwrhing new).

Have fum and emjoy. Claypot. Lots of great people here......both young and older. wine
