drbombay: I listened but I must say I do not believe everything I hear & 1/2 of what I see. I don't know as it is in different countries which may alarm or unnerve most people(understandable). This may be a collaboration of people(humans) as a joke to stir the pot so to speak. We will have to wait & see-don't know what else to say but it is strange.

don't believe it either!

venusenvy: I know right...The reason I dont think its a hoax is these recordings are coming from all over the world and its the comments being posted (not the internet idiots) that are so genuine. Many peeps are commenting that they also heard the sounds without recording them

I kinda hope I hear it tonight.

Hey Venus.. wave

I wonder if massive fracking operations are the source of the noise.. dunno

Canada fracking creates ‘test tube’ residents in B.C., Alberta

Calgary - Hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, in Canada is taking its controversial operation to new levels with reports surfacing of the largest fracking job ever undertaken having occurred in northern British Columbia in 2010, using 259 million gallons of water.

The Apache Corp. performed a fracking job deep in B.C.’s forest which required the staggering amount of water along with 50,000 tons of sand to frack 16 gas wells side by side. At the time, Apache bragged it was “nearly four times larger than any project of its nature in North America,” according to ProPublica.

As with all records, it was meant to be broken. By year’s end, Apache partnered with Encana, the second largest gas-driller in North America, to top it by half at a nearby site. Slowly emerging from the new fracking boom in western Canada is a growing concern over drinking water contamination, with one Alberta resident claiming communities in the region are a “test tube” for the hydraulic fracturing industry.

While a furious debate rages in the U.S. over the fracking industry’s waste and contamination of natural resources, its northern neighbor’s new gas drilling boom is getting a deserved second look, thanks in part to recently-surfaced governmental memos and those claims of water contamination.

Alberta fracking may have led to Innisfail oil spill

Calgary - Hydraulic fracturing’s impact on the environment received another mark this week when an oil well blowout occurred on a farm located about a kilometer away from a fracking well in Alberta, Canada.

Canada’s Energy Resource Conservation Board was alerted late last Friday about an oil spill in a field, about 25 kilometers west of Innisfail, after a neighboring landowner spotted a pumpjack gushing oil and chemicals onto the ground.

Regulators believe a fracking well located about a kilometer away caused the pumpjack to rupture. “We don't know the details yet . . . but my understanding is that it appears the fracturing process affected the other well,” the Calgary Herald reports.

Hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, is a highly controversial process of injecting pressurized water and chemicals - some toxic, some unknown - into the ground to release gas in layers of rock. Reports of contaminated drinking water and a rising string of earthquakes are believed connected to the process.

venusenvy: Has anyone else been catching this phenonmenon? Youtube is full of audio recordings of these very strange sounds being recorded around the planet...

Im not one to believe conspiracy theories, or any sort of "the sky is falling chicken little" bullcocky...but Im not sure what to make of this?

I had planned to go out late tonight in hopes of witnessing the incredible light display being cause by the increase in solar flares happening over the next several days, and now I will also be listening as there seems to be a lot of these strange sounds happening in Alberta...

What do you think of this?
