Im just happy (and relieved) to see peeps on here are aware. Awareness is everything. Now we have to decide collectively what we are going to do about it.
Vido1: And this comes from an Australian? I'm impressed - coz the problem started in the states. I can only recommend to watch FOOD INC. It is basically what you have said above. But Americans are too uneducated, they are herd-animals. And they believe everything what the government tells them. They don't think for themself. But we do need a global "Catastrophy" to reduce population, coz that is the course of all the problems (like global warming, CO2 and other emissions, Ozone layer reduction, the dissapearance of fishing grounds, wales, just only to mention a few). Most people don't even know what a "normal grown" tomato, potato, bread and so on tastes like.
Just have a look at the dump asses they electing as their president. Before they wake up it will be too late, and I personally think it is already too late. The chain reactions (yes, there is more than one) has already started, but nature has got much more time. And Chinese renting land in Africa to feed their own people, disregard the fact that the thousands of people starving especially in Africa every day. Thanks to politicians. At least they have more then enough to eat.
Thanks again for the great comment!
K...Perhaps I spoke too soon. It has less than NOTHING to do with one country or another. Nor one countries leader. This is a world wide event thats happening everywhere on the planet. Wake up!!
GUZMAN1: Albert Einstein said that if bees were to disappear, man would follow only a few years later.
I watched a science program about this before. It's amazing how neonicotinoids disturbs the Bee's autopilot function. It's even more amazing how Bees navigate and how they have a neural redundancy. Extraordinary little creatures.
venusenvy: Ive been following "Colony collapse disorder" for some time. Its truly alarming! I believe awareness is everything...As Dr. David Suzuki stated...the bees and frogs are our canary in the coal-mine. Once the bees are gone...so are we. We must wake up and act to protect them.

At least we know what the wage monkeys and cubicle farmers of tomorrow will be doing for a living: Pollinating by hand. There was a fear that increasing mechanisation and technology would make 95% of the Human race redundant, well not anymore and it's all thanks to destroying the earth.

Yeah, for some fruit and plants it is manually done with little brushes... they look a bit like pastry brushes.
