joyaepace: Exactly, I was doing house work without a word, but to renovate a house is another thing. He actually did it eventually, may be a year after I moved out and he kept updating me about the progress. So, the nagging may be helpful, although I did not enjoy the results.
May be it has an evolutionary purpose to prevent men from sliding into vegetable way of life? Just to keep them fit!

That is too funny. I just never got into the nagging as it seemed a waste of breath to me. With the lazy guy I was with; I was doing housework, cooking, yardwork, and renos. He even lost his job so I was paying the bills as well. I have to admit it was tiring but still easier than begging him to do anything. I did throw him out though as it was my house.
