josingleinspain: Yes I totally agree I am not saying I would only want to show my love only on one day of the year...... It is just that Valentine's is known as the day of love and for lovers. Just like xmas is a day of giving..........

I guess I am a rebel. I don't buy gifts at Christmas; I buy them at other times of the year. So, like Valentine's day; I don't need a special day to show someone I love them. Its really all about retailers and Hallmark making money if you ask me. laugh

josingleinspain: How many of you will be alone on the day of love??????

That one day that is ment to be spend with the one you love.
How many years have you spend wishing for that special one to wake up too and have all day to show them how much they mean to you???

I know I am fed up with having no romantic day to share with the one I love............

Feb 14th is just another day just like Christmas or Easter...you wake up heathly and have good things in your life and can be grateful for that, anything else is just a great bonus....love what ya got..teddybear

About the only holiday I truly enjoy is Christmas. All of the others I could live without.
However, I "go w/the flow" with holidays like Valentine's Day.

To each his/her own, I guess~

Witchaywoman: This Feb 14th I'm flinging POO at all the happy couples. Follow my example. Jump on the band wagon. Poo, I say! Poo! Why should THEY all get everything their nasty little hearts desire while we languish on CS? Here's why...The CUTE and FUZZY BUNNIES always win! Because they have all the cars and the jobs and the hairdos and the youth and the cute little bottoms! Well NOT TODAY! Today we become militant! Today is the dawn of a new day when all of us so called rejects reclaim our rightful place in society as primates and start flinging POO at the smug masses! Arm youselves. Today we take on the cute and fuzzy bunnies. Tomorrow Wall Street. Then we take the beauty shops and the dance halls! ARRRRRR!

Poo you say!confused
