I always respond, if the email is more than just a 'hi' so it's only 'some' women not all. To add, any initial emails I've sent to guys have been ignored too they have not responded, but I put it down to the fact I'm not there type and they are not interested.

If women don't reply (which the last time I looked wasn't against the rules) it is their perogative and as has already been stated, there are a bunch of lowlife scum who harrass them for rejection. I would feel the same if it happened to me. Some people (men or women) reach beyond what would be a reasonable expectation of attraction just because it is from behind the protection of their computer screen. A little dose of reality wouldn't hurt. jmho

Some of them might already be interested in someone else and don't see the need to answer any other mails.
Some receive like 20 mails a day and haven't gotten around to even seeing your mail in their inbox yet and some just chose the prerogative to not answer you, not everyone is like you. I don't answer every mail either and, I would like to stress, a lot of those mails are also a waste of time.
