gypseyblue: ppl in the uk dont starve, most do eat 3 times aday , i cant face breakfast which is why i dont eat it , lunch needs to be something i can have on the move and dinner is my main meal , ive tried having my main meal at mid day bit it just doesnt work for me
Hi,just came across this and wanted to say,that i was very similiar to you in that i could not stomach breakfast and would just have black tea and then not really eat untill late in the evening i did this for well over a year..i then started to feel ill,i became low in iron and had no energy and was lethargic,everyone said i wasnt eating enough but i just couldnt eat anymore..well i put on over a stone in weight,and i could not understand it,How could i put on weight when i ate so little???i still dont know not really but since jan i have made myself eat breakfast and i am eating a high protien diet do some exercise,ie walk the dogs every day and 2 times a week do zumba at home on the kinnect,i am eating more then i did but am loosing weight i have lost nearly a stone..i have a bit more energy but not yet as it was but i think thats an iron thing,so am trying to eat iron by salad and other food.... Eating regually seems to be the key,as it allows your body to keep using the energy..and breakfast must kick start the body...i also have grapefruit juice in the morning this is supposed to help..
Olaix congratulations on losing weight and regaining your health and well-being. I find my issue with weight is that I can lose it through diet and exercise fairly effortlessly but I can't keep it off - I tend to quickly or slowly regain it and find myself back at square one. Tell me Olaix for how long now have you been a healthier weight?
I stay active. I don't eat any fast-food, fried food and I keep my carbs low. I also eat small portions at a time, but I eat about 4-5 times a day with healthy snacks in between meals such as nuts without salt, raisins, fruits, lots and lots of fruits. I eat a lot of salads with grilled chicken breast. I don't eat any red meat at all. That's how I stay fit.
Yes, I am in good shape and healthy at the same time. My skin is also very nice which I believe is from staying away from fried foods. My hair is also very healthy and grows quickly, and my fingernails are long, tough and healthy too. Diet plays a big role in all of the above.
